Origin: South Africa.
Plant Description: About 4 cm of diameter with leaves that are superposed adopting with time a form of cylindrical column. Normally solitary, although in culture it is possible to found it branched.
Flowers: The plant takes about 10 years in blooming, using all its energies in the emission of a flowering stem that finishes in a inflorescence with clusters of very small flowers with variable colors, normally reddish or oranges ones. They emit a pleasant sweet scent.
Growth: Slow.
Culture: Ph 6. Full sun or slight shade. Moderate irrigation, does not support the excesses of water. It is necessary to protect it of the frosts. It vegetates without great problems with a basically mineral substratum.
