Crassulaceae Family  

  Aeonium gomerense 

Origin:  Canary Islands, La Gomera.

 

Plant Description:  Very branched stems with leaves made oval with a green nerve that crosses the center of the leaf, whose dentate edges adopt reddish colorations based on their exhibition to the light. The aspect, size of the leaves, their set in general, is very variable based on the light and the water they receive.

 

Flowers:  They arise from branched inflorescences. They are small, of white color.

Growth:  Slow.

Culture:  Ph 6.  Abundant irrigations in period of summer heat in which the plant suffers, and sporadic in winter to avoid that it loses his leaves. Full sun so that it acquires his characteristic colorations. It supports bad the frosts that hurt the plant.
