In danger? Because Jacques Duret, enthusiastic of the succulent plants, palms and other curiosities, settled in Terre-Rouge, the Island of Reunion, to the east of Madagascar, in 1986, constructing since then an extraordinary public garden, one of the most beautiful “spinecotecas” of the planet.

Jacques maintains since then a legal fight against certain institutions and the bureaucracy in general who only wish a thing: to be able to put on the terrain of the garden diggers and steam rollers to finish with more than twenty years of passion and expensive and disinterested work.
