Origin:  Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul).

Synonyms:  Notocactus haselbergii, Brasilicactus haselbergii.

Plant Description:  About 10 cm of diameter, forming groups with the age. Up to 30 ribs with areolas filled with fine white spines that cover all the cactus.

Flowers:  They are of bright red color to the orange, of 2.5 cm of diameter. The flowers can get to last more than 10 days.

Growth:  Vigorous.

Culture:  Ph 6. Full sun.  It likes the water during the period of growth and some short and occasional irrigation in winter. Easy culture, resists well the cold in dry.
